DSM to Buy Majority Stake in UHMW-PE Fiber Manufacturer in China

DSM says it has signed an agreement to acquire a majority shareholding in Shandong ICD High Performance Fibre (ICD; Laiwu, China). ICD is a manufacturer of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) fiber and a potential strong player in the Chinese market for high performance fibers, DSM says.
