World News and Views :: Top of the News DSM completes sale of DEXPlastomers and LLDPE technology to Borealis7:49 AM MST | March 4, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz DSM has completed the sale of its share in DEXPlastomers, a 50-50 joint venture with an affiliate of ExxonMobil Chemical, to Borealis. DSM also sold its linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) compact solution technology to Borealis. The transaction was announced in November 2012. DEXPlastomers, established in 1996, produces C8 plastomers and LLDPE. Approximately 100 employees have transferred to the new owner, as part of the transaction.
