DSM and Mitsubishi Chemical to Swap Polycarbonate and Nylon Businesses

DSM says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Chemical, to acquire Mitsubishi’s nylon business in exchange for DSM’s polycarbonate business. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Each business has annual sales of about €90 million, DSM says. The transaction is expected to close before the end of this year.
