DSM Reports Strong Start to 2008; Raises Earnings Estimates

DSM says 2008 is off to a good start because firm demand and pricing strength that began in most of the company’s markets in fourth-quarter 2007 have been sustained into 2008. “DSM’s strong market positions have enabled it to increase prices,” especially in the nutrition business, the company says.
