DSM Invests in U.S. Green Chemistry Firm; Acquires Full Ownership of Polymerization Facility in U.S.

DSM says its corporate venturing unit DSM Venturing, has made an equity investment in green chemistry company Segetis (Golden Valley, MN). Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. The investment supports DSM’s ambitions to develop bio-based performance materials to meet customers’ growing needs for improved performance and environmental benefits at competitive costs, the company says.
