Cytec Restarts Carbon Fiber Expansion Project

Cytec Industries says its board of directors has approved restart of a carbon fiber manufacturing expansion project at the company’s Piedmont, SC facility as well as starting a prepreg manufacturing expansion project at the company’s site at Greenville, TX. Both projects will support the growing demand for composite materials in the aerospace industry, the company says.
