Clariant to Sell Paper, Textile, and Emulsions and Detergents Unit

Clariant said an investor meeting in Munich today that it expects to divest three business units, accounting for nearly 20% of sales, within the next 18 months. Clariant has appointed Citibank to advise on the sale its textile chemicals; paper chemicals; and emulsions, detergents and intermediates units, Hariolf Kottmann, Clariant’s CEO tell CW. The businesses have combined sales of SF1.4 billion, accounting for 19% of Clariant's 2011 sales....
