City of Chicago Bans BPA

The Chicago City Council has unanimously approved a ban on the sale of baby bottles and sippy cups that contain bisphenol A (BPA). The ban is slated to take effect January 31, 2010. Aldermen Manny Flores and Edward Burke sponsored he measure, according to the Associated Press.
