World News and Views :: Top of the News China slaps provisional antidumping duties on resorcinol from Japan, US7:30 AM MST | November 26, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh China's Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom; Beijing) says that China has imposed provisional antidumping duties on imports of resorcinol from Japan and the United States as of 23 November 2012. An antidumping investigation was launched in March 2012 following complaints from Chinese manufacturers of resorcinol. Mofcom says that the investigation revealed that resorcinol imports from Japan and the United States were dumped in the Chinese market, causing substantial damage to the Chinese resorcinol industry.
