An antidumping investigation was launched in March 2012 following complaints from Chinese manufacturers of resorcinol. The final ruling follows the investigation, which revealed that resorcinol imports from Japan and the United States were dumped in the Chinese market, causing substantial damage to the Chinese resorcinol industry.
