China imposes provisional antidumping duties on pyridine from India and Japan

The Chinese government says that the Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom; Beijing) will impose provisional antidumping duties on imports of pyridine from India and Japan, starting 28 May. An antidumping investigation was launched in September 2012 following complaints from Chinese manufacturers of pyridine. The investigation revealed that Indian producers sold pyridine in China at dumping margins ranging from 24.6% to 57.4%, and Japanese producers sold the product at a dumping margin of 47.9%, the government says.
