China imposes antidumping duties on imports of TDI from the EU

China will impose antidumping duties ranging between 6.6% and 37.7% on imported toluene diisocyanate (TDI) from the European Union from Wednesday, the Chinese commerce ministry, Mofcom (Beijing), said today. This follows an investigation by Mofcom into imports of TDI from the European Union, which started in March 2012. The duties will last for five years, according to a ministry statement issued today.   Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) will face duties of 19.2%, while Dow Chemical and Perstorp will face duties of 37.7%.
