World News and Views :: Top of the News China Slaps Antidumping Duties on Monobutyl Ether from U.S. and EU9:08 AM MDT | July 30, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh The Ministry of Commerce, People's Republic of China (Mofcom; Beijing) says that China has imposed provisional antidumping duties on imports of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether from U.S. and the European Union (EU) as of July 28, 2012. An antidumping investigation was launched in November 2011 following complaints from Chinese manufacturers of these two substances. Mofcom says that the investigation revealed that ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether imports from U.S. and the EU...
