China Extends Antidumping Measures on Catechol from U.S. and Japan

The Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom; Beijing) says it has extended China’s antidumping measures for catechol imported from Japan and U.S. for a further five years starting May 22, 2012. China originally imposed the antidumping duties for five years starting May 22, 2006. China launched in May 2011, a review of the duties in response to applications from Chinese catechol manufacturers.
