World News and Views :: Top of the News China Bans Imports of More DEHP Tainted Products from Taiwan5:12 AM MDT | June 7, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh The Chinese government says that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ; Beijing) has added 21 more products to its blacklist of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) tainted imports from Taiwan. China issued an import ban on June 1 on certain DEHP tainted food products and additives from Taiwan following a warning from authorities in Taipei. The Chinese government says that as of June 6, imports of 945 Taiwanese products have been banned in China. Most of the banned products are beverages and sandwich spreads. The food...
