Chemtura Earnings Up 36% on Electronics and Ag Improvement

Chemtura reported first-quarter net earnings on a managed basis attributable to the company of $19 million, up 36% from the year-ago quarter. Sales increased 1%, to $708 million. Reported earnings were 19 cts/share, 2 cts above analyst estimates as reported by Thomson Reuters, and 36% above the year-ago quarter....
