Chemical Industries Association presents chemical strategy to UK government

The Chemical Industries Association (CIA; London) has launched a strategy for the UK chemical sector, which calls for the industry to grow 50% by 2030. The report, Chemistry Fuelled Growth of the UK Economy, was handed to the UK government yesterday. The industry, in the report, calls for and commits to rapid exploitation of shale gas, accelerating innovation, and rebuilding UK chemistry supply chains.
