CPhI: Fine Chemicals Are On the Up

The outlook for the pharmaceutical fine chemicals market is a positive one, according to a straw poll of exhibitors interviewed by CW at the CPhI pharmaceuticals expo taking place this week in Paris. Generally, the number of contract fine chemical projects going to tender is up, and companies such as Cambrex say they are bidding for more pharma fine chemical projects and winning more as well when compared to a year ago.   The market is in better shape with more small biotech companies seeming seeking out contract manufacturers, says Steven M.
