World News and Views :: Top of the News Brenntag Reports Higher Profits and Sales; Reconfirms Full-Year Earnings Guidance5:21 AM MST | November 11, 2010 | Ian Young Brenntag posted a 15% increase in third-quarter 2010 gross profits compared with the same period of 2009, to €430 million on sales up 25%, to €2 billion. Operating Ebitda rose 17%, to €160 million. Brenntag says it achieved "exceptional growth rates" in Asia/Pacific and that North America provided "excellent results."
