Brenntag Reports Big Increase in Second-Quarter Net Profits

Brenntag posted a 75% increase in second-quarter net profits compared with the same period of last year, to €68 million on sales up 11%, to €2.2 billion. Gross profits increased 6% year on year, to €444 million and operating Ebitda increased 10%, to €168 million.
