Bodal Chemicals Enters Farm Chemicals Business; to Build Phosphate Unit

Bodal Chemicals (Ahmedabad, India), a manufacturer of dyes and dye intermediates, says it has established a wholly owned subsidiary dubbed Bodal AgroTech to enter the agri-input business. Bodal AgroTech plans to build a 350,000 m.t./year-single super phosphate plant near Bodal’s existing manufacturing facilities at Padra, near Vadodara, India with an investment of about Rs310 million ($7 million).
