World News and Views :: Top of the News Bock Confirmed as President of Cefic, ICCA7:56 AM MDT | September 28, 2012 | Ian Young Cefic has confirmed CW's exclusive report that Kurt Bock, chairman of BASF, is Cefic's new president. Bock was elected Cefic president, with immediate effect, today at the Cefic annual meeting, currently being held in London. He has a two-year term as president, and succeeds Giorgio Squinzi, CEO of Mapei Group. Bock has also been appointed president of the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), succeeding Dow Chemical chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris.
