Bayer's MaterialScience Returns to Profit; CropScience Earnings Fall

Bayer’s MaterialScience division returned to a profit during the second quarter helped by higher demand, but CropScience’s earnings fell because of “difficult market and weather conditions,” the company says.  Ebit from MaterialScience was €226 million, compared to a €22-million loss.
