BASF opens Ultrason polyarylsulfone plant in South Korea

BASF's first Ultrason plant outside of Germany. BASF says that it has opened its previously announced new plant at Yeosu, South Korea, to strengthen the supply of Ultrason polyarylsulfone, one of BASF’s high-performance thermoplastics. The new plant, with a production capacity of 6,000 m.t./year, will better serve the growing market in Asia/Pacific, BASF says.
