BASF and Markor form two JVs to produce BDO and PolyTHF in China

BASF and Xinjiang Markor Chemical Industry Co. (Markor; Korla, China) plan to establish two joint ventures for the production of butanediol (BDO) and polytetrahydrofuran (PolyTHF) at Korla, Xinjiang Uygur Region, northwest China, the companies announced today. The companies have already signed the jv agreements and are waiting for regulatory approvals.
