BASF Shuffles Communications Jobs

BASF has announced the promotion of Anke Schmidt to senior v.p. and head of global employee development project, effective February 1, 2011. Schmidt, now responsible for corporate communications, will report directly to BASF's board member/human resources. Harald Schwager, board member with that responsibility is taking over the oil and gas portfolio on May 6th, 2011 while Margret Suckale, a new member of the BASF executive board, assumes the HR role at the same time.
