BASF Ponders Styrenics JV Prior to Exiting the Business

BASF declined to comment on recent press reports that it is in talks to form a styrenics joint venture prior to exiting the market. The company is in early discussions with an unidentified partner, Bloomberg reported citing "an official with knowledge of the situation," who said that negotiations may be prolonged by antitrust concerns.
