BASF First to Combine Financial and Environmental Reporting

BASF says it has become the first company to integrate its financial, environmental and social performance reports in a single publication. The report for full year 2007, which the company published yesterday, meets independent reporting standards group the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI; Amsterdam) highest rating of A+.  The report is designed to meet the expectations of investors, analysts, journalists and sustainability experts, the company says.
