Asahi Kasei buys DuPont out of polyacetal joint venture in China

Asahi Kasei Chemicals has agreed to buy DuPont out of Asahi-DuPont POM (Zhangjiagang) (ADZ), an equally owned joint venture engaged in the production and marketing of polyacetal (POM) copolymer in China, Asahi Kasei announced today. Asahi Kasei Chemicals and DuPont will proceed with plans to receive the necessary approvals from the Chinese government and begin discussions with clients regarding the transition.
