Asahi Glass Hikes Chlor-Alkali Capacity in Indonesia

Asahi Glass (Tokyo) says it will invest Y5 billion ($61.5 million) to expand capacity of its chlor-alkali manufacturing complex at Cilegon, Indonesia, belonging to PT Asahimas Chemical. Asahimas Chemical is a joint venture in which Asahi Glass holds a 52.5% interest, Mitsubishi Corporation 11.5% and local parnters, Rodamas and Ableman Finance have 18% each.
