Net income for the quarter was €58 million ($80 million), compared to a €20-million loss. Sales jumped 32%, to €1.4 billion. Ebitda more than doubled, to €166 million, including a €20-million loss from strikes related to pension reforms in France. Ebitda rose across all business units, but operating losses widened in the vinyl products business. Arkema says its price hikes were most significant in acrylic monomers, caustic...
