World News and Views :: Top of the News Arkema to Increase PVDF Capacity in China9:53 AM MST | January 6, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Arkema says it will speed up the development of a previously announced Kynar polyvinyledene fluoride (PVDF) production plant at the company’s site at Changshu, China, which is scheduled to come onstream in March 2011. The company has announced plans to increase capacity of the plant by 50% by mid-2012. This investment is intended to help meet the fast-growing demand for PVDF resins in emerging technologies, in particular applications in new energies and water filtration, Arkema says.
