World News and Views :: Top of the News Arkema Net Income Declines on Charges; Acquires Seppic's Alcoxylates Business2:19 PM MST | November 9, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Arkema reported net income of €109 million, down 16%, from the year-ago quarter, due to charges related to the acquisition of Total’s specialty resins. Adjusted net income was €130 million compared with €128 million in the year-earlier period. Arkema’s third quarter sales advanced 19% to €1.85 billion. Ebitda margin was down to 14.2% compared with 15.8% in the corresponding period of 2010, reflecting vinyl products’ results where the company achieved a break-even point....
