Arkema Doubles Ebitda, Raises Sales on Higher Demand and Prices

Arkema reported Ebitda of €287 million ($426.4 million) in the first quarter of 2011, more than doubling the €137 million achieved in the corresponding period of last year. Sales were up 33% at €1,7 billion. Ebitda margin advanced to 16.6% compared with 10.5% in the year-earlier period.
