American Vanguard Buys Chemtura’s Fungicide Line

American Vanguard (Newport Beach, CA) says it has acquired the pentachloronitrobenzene fungicide product line from Chemtura’s crop protection business. Financial terms were not disclosed. The fungicide product line is used in a wide range of applications, including turf and ornamental products, certain agricultural crops, and seed-treatment dressings.
