World News and Views :: Top of the News AkzoNobel to Build Dicumyl Peroxide Plant in China; Opens Organic Peroxides Plant12:51 AM MST | November 18, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh AkzoNobel says it will invest €45 million ($61 million) to build a new dicumyl peroxide plant at the company’s production site at Ningbo, China in order to meet a growing local, regional and global demand. Construction of the plant is expected to be completed by mid-2014 and it will be the company’s fifth plant in the Ningbo multi-site. The new facility will expand AkzoNobel’s dicumyl peroxide production capacity by more than 30% to 25,000 m.t./year and will allow for future expansion as the market continues grow, the company says...
