World News and Views :: Top of the News AkzoNobel to Build Cellulose Derivatives Facility in China2:07 AM MDT | March 23, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh AkzoNobel says it will construct a new facility for the production of its Bermocoll cellulose derivatives at the company’s multi-site at Ningbo, China. The company says it will also debottleneck the existing cellulose derivatives manufacturing site at Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The two projects will involve a total investment of more than €60 million ($84 million) and will increase total capacity to nearly 40,000 m.t./year.
