World News and Views :: Top of the News AkzoNobel Makes its Biggest Ever Investment in Latin America6:10 AM MST | January 24, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz AkzoNobel says its Eka Chemicals subsidiary will spend close to €90 million ($122.2 million) on a new world scale sodium chlorate facility in Brazil, which will supply the world's largest pulp mill. The new facility will be owned and operated by Eka Chemicals and will supply Eldorado Celulose e Papel's 1.5 million m.t./year green field pulp mill being constructed in the north part of Três Lagoas City.
