Ajinomoto OmniChem and Granules India Form Pharma Intermediates and API Venture in India

Ajinomoto (Tokyo) says its wholly owned subsidiary Ajinomoto OmniChem (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) has signed an agreement with Granules India (Hyderabad, India), a manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceuticals, to form a 50-50 joint venture dubbed Granules OmniChem Pvt. Ltd. (Vishakhapatnam, India), to manufacture pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs.
