Air Liquide invests in Australian firm

Air Liquide says it is making an equity investment in Hydrexia (Brisbane, Australia) through its subsidiary Aliad, which is focused on investing in technology start-ups. Hydrexia, which was established in 2006, is a spin-off of the University of Queensland (Brisbane) and has developed effective and reliable hydrogen storage technology using a new magnesium alloy in a solid form called hydride, Air Liquide says.
