World News and Views :: Top of the News Air Liquide Builds Hydrogen Plant in China7:34 AM MDT | July 23, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Air Liquide says it has begun construction of a new hydrogen plant, following the signing of a long-term agreement with Zhejiang Huafon Spandex (Rui'an, China). The plant will supply hydrogen for its 120,000-m.t./year cyclohexanone project located at the Liaoyang Aromatics and Fine Chemical Park at Liaoyang, China. Cyclohexanone is a key ingredient in the production of nylon. Air Liquide will invest in a new steam methane reformer unit, under the terms of the deal, and will supply 13,000 Nm3/hour of hydrogen as well as steam to Zhejiang Huafon via pipelines...
