Agrium and Compass Post Strong Fourth Quarter

Agrium reported fourth-quarter net income of $172 million, compared to a net loss of $62 million in the same period of 2006. Ebitda was $250 million, compared to a loss of $87 million in the year-ago quarter. Agrium cites a $302-million increase in gross profit, and a $35-million decline in expenses.
