Aditya Birla Acquires Swedish Specialty Pulp and Biorefinery Company for $340 Million

The Aditya Birla Group (Mumbai) says it has acquired Domsjö Fabriker (Örnsköldsvik, Sweden), a specialty pulp and biorefinery company, for $340 million from a Swedish consortium. The acquisition was done through Aditya Birla’s Thai Rayon (Bangkok) and Indo Bharat Rayon (Jakarta, Indonesia) subsidiaries.
