The acquisition was done through Aditya Birla’s Thai Rayon (Bangkok) and Indo Bharat Rayon (Jakarta, Indonesia) subsidiaries. The acquisition will help Aditya Birla’s pulp and fiber business, a core business of the group, to further consolidate its global position, the company says.
