World News and Views :: Top of the News Acron Secures Phosphate Ore Supplies from Apatit8:37 AM MST | December 30, 2009 | Natasha Alperowicz Acron (Vielikii Novgorod, Russia), a major producer of fertilizers, has signed contracts with JSC Apatit (Kirovsk, Russia) securing supplies of apatite concentrate for its Novgorod and Dorogobuzh fertilizer plants in Russia. Acron will pay Ruble 3,050/m.t. ($101.6/m.t.) next year and Ruble 3,278/m.t. in 2011. Apatit, in which Acron holds a minoirty stake, will meet Acron's entire needs for phosphate ore in 2010 and 2011, under the terms of the contract.
