AMRI extends API supply deal with Shire

Albany Molecular Research Inc. (AMRI; Albany) says it has entered into a mult-year active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) supply agreement for an undisclosed product with Shire US Manufacturing (Owings Mills, MD), a subsidiary of specialty biopharmaceutical company Shire (Dublin). The terms of the deal were not disclosed. The agreement extends a previously existing agreement between the two companies, AMRI says.
