EPA Revises Boiler MACT Rules4:15 PM MST | December 6, 2011 | Kara Sissell U.S. EPA has revised it's proposed changes to Clean Air Act standards for boilers and certain incinerators. The reconsidered standards set emission limits for less than 1% of boilers, and focus on high-emitting boilers, typically operating at refineries, chemical plants and other industrial facilities. EPA says the changes cut the cost of implementation by nearly 50% percent from its original 2010 proposed rule.
