World News and Views :: Top of the News Nalco Reports Strong Sales and Profits; Raises Full-Year Outlook11:12 AM MDT | November 3, 2011 | Kara Sissell Nalco Holdings reported third-quarter 2011 net income up 30%, to $78.7 million, on sales up 15% to $1.25 billion, due to strong sales and profits across all regions. Earnings per share were 55 cts, ahead of analyst estimates of 46 cts/share as reported by Thomson Reuters (New York). Nalco raised its 2011 guidance, citing strong sales growth and improving margins as price increases continue to take effect. Full year Ebitda is now forecast at $175 million, from $170 million earlier this year, and full-year EPS to $1.75/share, from $1.70/share.
