Cytec Earnings Fall 28% on Lower Volumes, Charges

Cytec Industries’ net earnings from continuing operations fell 28%, to $36.2 million, on sales up 14%, to $798 million. The current quarter includes charges totaling $9.7 million. Higher selling prices and favorable exchange rates were slightly offset by lower volumes, Cytec says....
