Arch Beats Street View, but Warns of Potential Loss in Fourth Quarter

Arch Chemicals' third quarter net income was $10.3 million (41 cts/share), down 40% from the year-ago period, on sales down 5%, to $350.5 million.  Higher pricing and the company's acquisition of water treatment chemicals producer Advantis Technologies (Alpharetta, GA) were more than offset by lower volumes and unfavorable foreign exchange rates, the company says....
