Yara Delays Decision on Trinidad Project

Yara says it has not yet made a final decision on a previously announced $600 million- $1 billion fertilizer project in Trinidad (CW, March 8, 2006, p. 16). The company had been expected to decide by the end of last year but says it has not yet reached an agreement on the supply of natural gas feedstock to the proposed plant. The project remains an important investment opportunity for Yara, the company says.
